Asset Pro, Asset Pro Mobile and Asset Pro CMMS, also known as a Computerized Maintenance Management System, is a software solution designed to help organizations manage their maintenance operations effectively. This system has been in existence since 2003, introduced in Canada and a few days later in the USA and has since then evolved to meet the changing needs of businesses in different industries around the world in over 100 languages. Asset Pro (Mobile and CMMS) design and development started in 2002 and first released in 2003 by a small but enthusiastic group of professionals with a background in computer science, engineering, GIS, accounting and maintenance management. The founders recognized the need for a comprehensive solution to manage maintenance operations in different industries, and Asset Pro CMMS was born. The software was designed to streamline maintenance processes, reduce downtime, and increase asset reliability. It was so effective a competitor, Maintenance Connection, asked us to partner with them has been whiteboxed as "Maintenance Connection Everywhere" and, since 2004 sold as a companion product to the Maintenance Connection family, that story is told in detail elsewhere and was spearheaded by the "Asset Pro Solutions Inc." DBA "Maintenance Connection Canada" company in Canada who took on the Asset Pro Solutions Inc. name when they became our first dealer, and then the Maintenance Connection Canada name as well for their sales of the MCe branded version of Asset Pro. That product focused on the technician mobile online and offline side of the needs, and the administrator version of Asset Pro CMMS sat with it's humble beginnings, deferring to Maintenance Connection for most purposes.

Over the years, Asset Pro CMMS has undergone various upgrades and improvements to make it more user-friendly and efficient. The software has been enhanced to include more features, such as mobile accessibility, real-time data tracking, and predictive maintenance capabilities. It has sat in the shadow of another one of our products MCe due to the quality and strength of the Maintenance Connection offerings up to 2020. In 2019, one of the principals of the original Maintenance Connection dev team encouraged our team to bring the Administrator version of Asset Pro CMMS up to at least parity with the MRO version of Maintenance Connection to bring the benefits of MCe to administrators instead of just technicians. The proposal was that that version of Asset Pro Administrator would also be mostly sold under the "Maintenance Connection Everywhere" brand, continuing to be the great partner with MRO that we have been for 20 years.
